Our story
From one envelope of seeds to a family legacy.
In 2007, our family began working alongside farmers in Kosovo. John Hoopes, my father and multi-generational farmer, mailed the first jalapeño seeds from the United States, helping launch a small farming project that grew far beyond those first rows of peppers.
Hula Hoopes carries that spirit forward in Hawaiʻi: resourceful, generous, and made to be shared around the table. The name honors the Hoopes family and the legacy that started with a simple package of seeds.
